All the items like climbing, diving, hiking, food or whatever you can do here on Kalymnos. So let’s go and seek for the experience.
- The climate of Kalymnos is the same as in all the other islands of the Dodecanese.
- It is a mild Mediterranean climate characterized by sunny and dry summers and mild winters.

When you land on Kos by plane, take a taxi (+30 22420 22777) and let it bring you to Mastichari. Or if you have time, take the bus.

Taxi
Once you arrive in the harbour of Pothia you can take a taxi which can bring you to your final destination. It might be a good idea to order a taxi when you are on the boat to Kalymnos. Call +30 22430 50300 and they will give you a number of the taxi which will be waiting for you in the port of Kalymnos.

Long distance connection with ferry boat to Kalymnos
When you decide to travel to Athens and then to take one of the ferries to Kalymnos, then check this sites.
You can make a booking online. The travel time will depend on which company you take.

Every day during the season from 7.30 am till 12 at night and every half an hour. (The schedule may varies because of the SARS-COV-2 pandemic. Please check the websites)
For transfers to climbing area’s on Telendos, they have special trips to go and come back. Ask the skippers in the harbour of Myrties.

By airplane to Kos – Kalymnos
When you land in Athens and you need to take a flight to Kalymnos or Kos, look at this sites and make a booking.
For a flight to Kos or Kalymnos:
From the airport of Kos you can take a bus or a taxi to Mastichari. There is a bus connection from the airport to Massouri. But only taxi is the fassest possibility to get to your final destination.
During season periods Mai till October, charter flights from different countries will fly to Kos Airport (a small collection); check the link down below and we have all airliners flying to Kos during the season.
